This application uses the JMdict dictionary files. These files are the property of the Electronic Dictionary Research and Development Group and are used in conformance with the Group’s licence.
KANJIDIC2
Kanji readings, stroke counts, and primary radicals are provided by EDRDG’s KANJIDIC2 project.
KRADFILE
Kanji visual component lists are provided by EDRDG’s KRADFILE project.
Tanos JLPT resources
Modern N1–N5 kanji study levels are derived from community lists compiled by Jonathan Waller at Tanos.co.uk. These are study classifications, not official specifications from the Japan Foundation or Japan Educational Exchanges and Services.
Tatoeba
Example sentences are sourced from Tatoeba under Creative Commons licences, including CC BY 2.0 FR. Sentence identifiers are retained for attribution and provenance.
